eClinicalWorks Cloud and healow Providing Value to HealthNet
Having attended multiple eClinicalWorks user conferences, one of their big efforts was to move all of their users to the eClinicalWorks cloud. eClinicalWorks had made a big investment in cloud and they wanted all of their users to benefit from the reliability, scalability, and benefits of being on the cloud.
With this in mind, I sat down with V Cantrell, MD, CMO at HealthNet and Abigayle Gomez, EMR Director at HealthNet, at the eClinicalWorks annual conference to learn more about their recent move to the eCW cloud. They shared with me what went into the decision to move to the cloud and details of the results.
Along with moving to the cloud, HealthNet has also been leveraging eClinicalWorks healow solution to improve their revenue cycle management. Gomez shared with us about their experience using healow Pay and Statements and how it has really benefited the HealthNet organization’s RCM.
HealthNet has also been using one of the AI solutions, the healow AI-powered no-show prediction model. It turns out before using this model, they already had a really good no-show rate. However, always aspiring for better, they wanted to see if the tool could help them improve that number even more. They were pleased to report that the tool did help them reduce the number of no shows at their organization so they could make sure their clinicians schedules are full.
Finally, we also talked with Cantrell and Gomes about how eCW is as a partner to their organization and got their reaction to the plethora of AI features that eCW announced during the keynote of their annual conference.
