AI Slop, Poor Patient Design, and Gripes – Fun Friday

Happy Friday to everyone out there!  We hope you had an amazing week and are ready for a wonderful weekend.  My weekend is going to be cut short since my son is doing a poster session at a chemistry conference in Chicago.  Will be weird to be at McCormick for something not health IT related.  Plus, I’m just dad, but at least I know how to get around.

My travel schedule aside, it’s time for another edition of Fun Friday.  This week we have a good mix of humor for you.

I’ve thought about this quite a bit, but this comic captured it so well.  To be frank, I’m not someone who understands art valuation.  I’m also the person who does’t care if AI was used to create something (art or content).  I just always focused on the value that whatever created provides.

You may need to click to see the full cartoon.  This one is hilarious and brutal.  Especially because it’s so true.  Reminds me of the recent article about the 27 clicks it takes to open Epic.  There’s some nuance to that discussion, but we definitely make it too hard sometimes.

I think there are some people in this world that are professional gripers.  What’s also true is that there are some people that are dealing with the most challenging of challenges and they still make the most of what they have.  The world keeps moving and it’s our choice how we react to it.
